Whitby abbey, lying on the north east coast of the North York Moors National Park, departure point of captain james Cook, on his epic voyage to Australia.
My photographs cover the north york moors, and surrounding area, from the River Tees in the north, to the Humber in the south, and bordered inland by the East Coast Railway. the bounderies are only general, and occasional forays occur to other parts of the country, such as the Yorkshire dales, and the north Pennines, and Scotland.
